Karachi Renaissance

The seeds we planted in Karachi 20 years ago are finally bearing fruit. Today I look around and see a city in renaissance: music, art, literature, theater, film, dance and every kind of cultural activity you can think of are taking place every day. Young people are becoming inspired to go into creative fields as never before. Educators and entrepreneurs alike are making serious efforts to include children from disadvantaged backgrounds in festivals, exhibitions, art shows, dance and sport. The city’s in bloom at last and it’s a beautiful place to be.sabeen.jpg
